Please let your gift recipients know an adult 21 or older needs to sign upon delivery. The carrier will make up to 3 delivery attempts. If they will not be available, see the information on your order confirmation so you can have the package rerouted or held.
Where can I find my shipping information and tracking number?
An order confirmation was sent to the email address on your account, including the specific carrier information and tracking number. The information is also in your ‘My Account’ section of mywinesdirect.com under Order History.
What if I look up the tracking number and don't see any information?
It may take a few extra days to show up even though your package is enroute. This is particularly true for shipments to AZ, CT, IL, MA, NJ.
If I need help, who do I contact?
If you have your shipping confirmation, you can contact the carrier, UPS or Fedex directly. Or contact customer service at mywinesdirect. You can call 1-866-330-WINE (9463) or email us at customerservice@mywinesdirect.com. Please provide any information you can including your name, ship to person, order number.
Can I send wine if I live in a state where you don't ship?
Yes, you may purchase wine, as long as you are over 21 from any state. However, it must be delivered to one of the states eligible for delivery.
Do I need to sign for the delivery?
Someone age 21 or older must sign for the delivery. Carriers will make up to three tries for delivery and signature.
Can someone else in the household sign for it?
As long as the person is over 21, they can sign and accept your shipment. The carrier will request a photo id as proof of age.
What if I am not home?
If you may not be home during this time, consider sending your wine to a business or alternate address. The carrier can not leave the package without an adult signature.
How long does it take to get my shipments?
Depending on where the order is being shipped, standard orders generally take 2-7 business days to arrive at their destination. However, AZ may be up to two weeks.
How long does expedited service take to get my shipments?
Orders placed today will ship on the next business day, and arrive in two business days. (for example, if you order on Sunday, your shipment will go out on Monday for delivery Wednesday). We currently do not offer overnight service.
Why is AZ longer?
AZ usually takes 7 business days depending on the timing of the order. It is slightly longer than our other deliveries to comply with the individual legal practices of each state. We appreciate your understanding.
How does My Wines Direct ship my wine orders?
We use a variety of carriers, primarily, FedEx and UPS depending on state availability and state regulatory requirements. All orders are shipped in plain wrapped, sealed packages so keep an eye out.
Are there any restrictions on the type of address where My Wines Direct can ship?
By law, alcohol cannot be shipped to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Plus, there are a few states with specific zip code restrictions (see the listing below).
What if there is a problem?
If there is evident carrier damage, please let them know upon delivery. Then call us and we will replace it for you. Also, please call or write customer service if there are any other issues or questions. We'll take care of it right away. Your satisfaction is our guarantee.
I live in a state where you currently deliver, but I've tried to order in the past from other companies and haven't been able to. How am I able to order through My Wines Direct?
State regulations regarding the shipment of wine change regularly. My Wines Direct, through its fulfillment providers and partners, is in compliance with all requirements for legally shipping and delivering wine to customers living in the states to which we ship.
Why can't I send a wine gift basket to all your states?
State regulatory requirements prohibit us from offering this option in CT at this time.
Need it faster? 2 day delivery for $12
In many of our states, you can choose guaranteed two business day delivery. It's a fee of only $12 for each destination in your order. You still get tremendous savings and now have an option when you need a gift for a special day, or a party this weekend!
Can I use express shipping to all your states?
In a few states (AZ, IL, MA, NJ) there is only standard shipping available on wine and gift baskets. Delivery time in these states will average 2-4 business days for IL, MA and NJ, and approximately 7 business days for AZ. In CT, we can deliver wine standard shipping, 2-4 business days, but can not ship gift baskets.
Do you ship all year round?
My Wines Direct ships year round, though we do not ship on major holidays or on weekends. Additionally, in the event of extreme weather conditions (i.e. heat and/or cold), My Wines Direct reserves the right to delay the release of shipments in order to maintain the high quality of products at the time of arrival.

We ship wine and/or wine gift baskets to Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Washington DC, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Wisconsin, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wyoming.
Why do these rules seem so complicated?
Wine and alcohol are categories still heavily regulated by state restrictions, and we comply with these in each of the states we ship to.
