Potter's Hill Chardonnay 2009
Clarksburg, California
Clarksburg, wedged in between California’s capital, Sacramento, and the Lodi wine region, is home to over 7,000 acres of grapevines. Chardonnay is one of the area’s most popular grapes, and the Potter’s Hill demonstrates why. Medium-bodied, smooth, and fresh, it has an aromatic nose of lemon, apple, and pear; on the palate touches of toasted nuts and a light caramel add complexity.

The Potter’s Hill Chardonnay goes well with light chicken dishes or broiled fish like sea bass. It also works well with all sorts of salads.
