Mont-Ferrant Rosé Brut Cava
Girona, Spain
Garnacha – or Grenache, as it’s known outside Spain – is a go-to grape for making rosé wine for winemakers all over the Mediterranean, so it’s no surprise that Mont-Ferrant decided to give it a prominent part in their rosé sparkling wine. Monastrell (a.k.a. Mourvedre) also plays a part, giving a rich, deep color to the wine; together the two grapes offer aromas of raspberry, cherry and plum. This Cava is medium-bodied, with a dry finish.

The Mont-Ferrant Rosé goes very well with chicken, pork or richer fish like monkfish or grouper. More traditionally it makes a great accompaniment to a classic paella as well.
