Potter's Hill Chardonnay 2007
Lodi, California
Chardonnays often fall into extremes, either rich and buttery or light and crisp. Finding a balance between the two means a lot of work for the winemaker, but the Potter’s Hill shows why it’s worth the pay-off. Medium-bodied, it offers some fruity notes of pear and fig alongside touches of honey, toast and almond. It’s refreshing, but not lightweight when it comes to flavor and body.

Nice and smooth-not too oakey
Serve the Potter’s Hill Chardonnay with richer fish like monkfish or salmon. It also goes well with chicken and many vegetarian pastas.
