There's no doubt that Chardonnay can be a refreshing, elegant wine, even if many are full and opulent instead. Ferndale Chardonnay is a perfect example - with ripe fruit and just the right touch of oak. Working that angle, it shows delicious apple, pear and hazelnut aromas as well as a pleasing spice on the finish. It's also medium-bodied, smooth and crisp.
Ironstone Vineyards has a number of sustainable viticulture practices in place to make this refreshing Chardonnay a "green wine".

I loved this chardonnay...I was planning on only serving Pinot at thanksgiving but I will now serve this as well...I'm no expert but the win ...

The Ferndale Chardonnay goes well with lighter chicken dishes and many pastas. It also suits many white fish like cod or snapper.
