Ledgewood Creek Sauvignon Blanc 2005
Suisun Valley, California
We often think of Sauvignon Blanc as a summer wine, light and thirst-quenching. However, there are some that have the heft and weight to work well in the cooler months, and the Ledgewood Creek is one of them. Full-bodied, its fruit aromas lean toward mango and lemon and are rounded out by touches of vanilla and a flinty smokiness. If you normally think Sauvignon Blanc is too sharp or light for you, this is one to try.
Ledgewood Creek Winery practices the process of sustainable viticulture to make all of their wines "green".
Due to popular demand, this wine is sold out. Please try another Crisp & Refreshing White.

very clean tasting ...more of a chardonnay drinker but really liked this
Very nice wine to start out an evening with friends.
Thought this wine was average to slightly above average. Decent bang for the buck, but probably not one I'll get much more of in the future ...

The Ledgewood Creek Sauvignon Blanc goes very well with many vegetarian dishes, or pastas finished with olive oil or other light sauces. It also makes a good pairing with soft cheeses like feta or fresh mozzarella.
